If you were on this site the other day you may have noticed that Ludacris has a new mixtape. One of the songs on the mixtape that has been garnering a lot of attention is the song “Bada Boom”. In the song “Bada Boom” Ludacris addresses naysayers who have accused him of stealing their flows. It’s blatantly obvious that he’s referring to Drake and Big Sean with lines like “Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealing their flows, but I can’t steal what you never made up biiitch/ Y’all some duplicate rap cloning niggas/I manufacture you hoes put on your makeup biiitch…” and “May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain’t invent it, boy/Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that’s disrespecting pioneers in the game.”. All of this stems from an interview in which Drake discussed his flow on the song “Forever” and gave Big Sean credit for introducing the “#HashTag” flow to the world. He did this while taking a jab at Ludacris for using it on the song “My Chick Bad” with Nicki Minaj. Not being one to pass up a chance to let someone compliment him,Big Sean agreed with Drake and took credit for inventing the flow. Needless to say that this has Ludacris upset and to see what he else he had to say about Big Sean’s claim of inventing the flow and Big Sean and Drake’s claim of him stealing the flow click here.
